Mike Krzyzewski

Mike Krzyzewski (known by fans as “Coach K”), renowned coach of Duke University men’s basketball — who also led Team USA to three Olympic gold medals — is a master motivator, not only of teams but of individuals and organizations, spurring them to succeed beyond even their own expectations. 

A member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Coach K shows how attendees, too, can compile winning numbers in their professional and personal lives. Perhaps the most accomplished basketball coach in history, Coach K has achieved unparalleled milestones, including:

He co-founded the Coach K Center on Leadership and Ethics, and is a professor of the practice of leadership at Duke. Coach K also founded and serves as board chair of the Emily Krzyzewski Center, whose mission is empowering students “to successfully complete higher education, connect to promising careers and become agents of change within their communities.” Coach K has been on the board of directors at the V Foundation since its inception in 1993. He and his wife Mickie annually host the V Foundation Wine Celebration, which has raised tens of millions of dollars in the fight against cancer.
