Sen. Bernie Moreno

Senator Bernie Moreno, though elected in November, will be the senior senator from Ohio once JD Vance is sworn in as vice president. Born in Bogota, Colombia, his family moved to the United States when he was 5 years old. He became an American citizen at age 18. His early career was spent working with automotive manufacturers and industry magazines. In 2005, Moreno purchased a Cleveland car dealership and built it to be one of the largest luxury dealerships in the Midwest. In 2016, he founded BlockTitles, which eliminates the need for states to issue paper titles. He grew the company from an idea to a $100 million company. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
